C. ALBERT ELDER

A native of Altoona, died unexpectedly early yesterday morning at his 
home, 504 Florence avenue, Louisville, Ky. He was born Oct. 1, 1898, in 
Altoona, a son of J. A. and Grace (Cassidy) Elder, but had resided in 
Louisville for the past 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. 
Catherine Elder; one son, James, of Little Rock, Ark., and the 
following brothers and sisters: Roy of Pleasant Gap, Clarence of 
Coraopolis, Mrs. Grace Miley of Erie, J. Kessler Elder of Philadelphia, 
Mrs. Thelma Havlin of Corning, N.Y., and Mrs. Florence Gilliland of 
Altoona. Friends are being received at the Miller funeral home, 
Louisville, and interment will be made at Louisville.
