Died.

ELDER - In this city, on the 13th inst., Mrs. W. Scott Elder, daughter 
of William Meredith, aged 26 years, 11 months and 13 days.
  The funeral will take place from the residence of her father, on 
Eighth avenue between Thirteenth and Fourteenth streets, this afternoon 
at 2 1/2 o'clock.

  Mrs. Letitia Elder, wife of W. S. Elder and daughter of William 
Meredith, residing on Eighth avenue, between Thirteenth and Fourteenth 
streets, died in convulsions between 4 and 5 o'clock yesterday morning.
