VERNA MARY ELLENBERGER

Of Broad Avenue extension, died unexpectedly in her home at 3.55 p.m. 
yesterday, her 80th birthday anniversary. She was born on May 16, 1886, 
in Morrisons Cove, a daughter of Lloyd and Mary (Walters) Pressel, and 
married John A. Ellenberger, who died Dec. 3, 1957. Surviving are two 
children, Mrs. Hazel Wagner and J. Harold of the city; four 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the 
Fifty-eighth Street Methodist Church, Donelly Bible Class and Quilting 
Circle. Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. 
today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
