ELLENBERGER A guest of the Presbyterian Home, Hollidaysburg, and formerly of Pine Grove Mills, died at 4.40 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 15, 1974, at Altoona Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1886, in Bald Eagle, a daughter of George A. and Alice (Woodle) Burns, and was twice married, first to Leroy W. Barto, who died July 7, 1956, and then to Walter C. Ellenberger. Surviving are her husband and four children, C. Melvin Barto, Mrs. Ethel Gauthier and Mrs. Jane Henry of Pine Grove Mills, and Mrs. Helen Gates of Juniata; four stepchildren, Albert C. Ellenberger of Bruin, Mrs. Charlene Sutton of Kittanning and C. Orland Ellenberger and Mrs. Blanche Herman of Parker; 15 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ruth Stine of Harrisburg, Mrs. Louella Hoffman of Tyrone and Clair F. Burns of Warriors Mark RD. Mrs. Ellenberger was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church of Pine Grove Mills. She was a charter member of Lady Ferguson Rebekah Lodge. Friends will be received in the Koch Funeral Home, State College, from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., September 16, 1974
