Else, of 1224 Nineteenth avenue died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at his home, following a stroke of paralysis, he having been ill since early in July. Mr. Else was born Sept. 2, 1863, at Erie, Pa., and had been a resident of this city for the past quarter of a century, working for the Pennsy for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna E. Else, and the following children: Joseph N. Else, a second lieutenant of artillery, located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Hary [sic] DeWitt Else, a first lieutenant of artillery in France; Mary C., Ruth I., Anna N., and Charlotte E., all at home. One brother, Harry G. Else of Youngstown, O., also survives. Mr. Else was a member of the First Presbyterian church. The funeral services will probably be held Saturday afternoon from the home.
