F. Bowers, at Roaring Spring shortly after 12 o'clock yesterday, of paralysis, following an illness of over four years the greater part of which time she was an invalid. She was unconsious since last Friday when she suffered the third stroke. Her husband was the victim of a railroad accident at the mill crossing below Roaring Spring on January 12 when he was struck and instantly killed by a branch passenger train. Since his death the widow has been making her home with her brother. She was the daughter of John and Fannie Bowers, deceased, and was born on the Bowers homestead in Taylor Township, October 22, 1860, in 1879 she became the wife of Mr. Emeigh and whith the exception of a few years, spent at Kittanning, they have resided in this vicinity all their lives. Nine children were born, seven of whom survive: Mrs. Sadie Collier of Mill Run, John of Braddock, Mrs. Fannie Fuller of East Freedom, William at home, Mrs. Rachael Hicks and Mrs. Laura Dick of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Maud Megalin of Altoona. She is also survived by brothers: Fred and J.F. Bowers of Roaring Spring, and William Bowers of Altoona and two sisters: Mrs. Eli Garber and Mrs. Charles Igou of Tyrone. She was a faithful attandent of the Mennonite church for many years. The funeral services will be held from her late home. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.
