Altoona Mirror November 27, 1933
Mrs. Sadie (Shiffler) Emeigh, wife of Eli Emeigh, died this morning at 12:30 
o'clock at her home at 341 Locust Street, Roaring Spring, following an illness 
of two weeks, attributed to a complicaton of ailments.  She was born in Taylor 
Township, on March 27, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Shiffler, both 
now deceased.  She was united in marriage with Eli Emeigh on Feb. 19, 1890, 
who survives, with one son and one daughter, Harry Emeigh of Wierton, W. VA; 
and Mrs. Helen Watson of Altoona, and one brother, Harry Shiffler of Cross 
Keys and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Butler of Roaring Spring.  She was a lifelong 
member of the Bare Memorial Church of God in Roaring Spring and of the Sunday 
School class taught by  Clarence Hare.  Funeral services will be conducted at 
the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be made in the 
Greenlawn cemetery.
