Emfield died on Saturday morning at 7 o'clock at the home of J. R. Smith, of Riggles Gap, death being caused by congestion of the liver. She was the widow of George Emfield and was born Aug. 14, 1848. She was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Glasgow, deceased, and lived almost her entire life in Riggles Gap. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. David Love, of California; Mrs. Jane McCracken, of Clearfield, Blair, of Clearfield; Joseph, of Blandburg, and Levi, of Bellwood. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran church. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the new Church of the Brethren in Riggles Gap. Interment in Antis cemetery.
