ENGLE DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME Stricken With Apoplexy After Eating Hearty Breakfast William Henry Engle, a well known resident of this section of the county and a veteran iron worker, dropped dead at his home on Brush mountain, Frankstown township, yesterday morning at 7.30 o'clock, his sudden demise being due to an attack of apoplexy. He always enjoyed the best of health and was stricken with the dread disease, while apparently in good health. He had arisen early as usual, and after partaking of a good breakfast, started to do some work about the house, when he suddenly dropped to the floor and was dead when the members of the family reached his side. Deceased was born in Hollidaysburg and at the time of death, was aged 69 years, 4 months and 1 day. He resided in the county all his lifetime, having been a resident of Brush mountain for a number of years, and had been employed in the local rolling mills until they ceased operation years ago. He was a good husband and father and his kindly nature made him many friends, almost everyone around here knowing "Dad" Engle. He was a member of the Judson Bible class at the Baptist church. Besides his wife, who was formerly Jane Hazlett, of Hollidaysburg, he is survived by these children, James H., Mary E., Annie E., William G., all at home; also by one sister Mrs. Mary E. McDonald, of Chicago, Ill. The funeral services will be held at his late home on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery.
