  Gertie, the 16-year-old daughter and eldest child of Thomas Ermine, 
of this place, died yesterday morning at the home of her grandfather, 
Sylvester Ermine, near Tipton, after a lingering illness, of pneumonia.

  The funeral of the late Gertie Ermine will take place this morning at 
10 o'clock from the home of her grandfather, Sylvester Ermine, near 
Tipton.  Interment in Bellwood cemetery.
