ANNA M. ERNDL

Of 1324 Walton Ave., died at 1.55 a.m. today, July 31, 1971, at her 
home after a lengthy illness.  She was born in Altoona on March 30, 
1908, a daughter of John and Johanna (Altmanshofer) Schmidhammer, and 
married Alois Erndl on July 17, 1928.  Surviving are her husband and 
four children, Robert M. and John A. of Altoona, Mrs. Ann Andrews of 
Columbus, Ohio, and William K. of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren and two 
brothers, Karl of Hollidaysburg and Andrew of Morro Bay, Calif.  Mrs. 
Erndl was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the auxiliaries of 
the Bavarian Aid Society and Unter Uns.  Friends will be received at 
the Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Monday.
