Estep, Sr. Mr. Estep, 71, of 95 Juniata Street, Williamsburg, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday May 26, 1993, at Altoona Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Estep retired as chief fireman from Penelec, Williamsburg, in June 1973, after 28 years of service. Prior to that he served as manager of Estep's service station and grocery store, Williamsburg. He was born July 25, 1921 in Williamsburg, the son of John Fay and Dorothy (Brantner) Estep. He was twice married, first to Lorma Banks on Feb. 14, 1942 in Williamsburg, then to Dorothy R. Price on November 15, 1968, in Williamsburg, who died on July 12, 1986. Surviving are four children: Howard E. Jr., and Bruce T. of Williamsburg RD 2, Philip L. of Russell RD 2, Mona R. Miller of Williamsburg RD 1 and, 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother: Florence E. Edwards of Wyandotte, Mich., Bertha M. of Altoona and Robert E. of Williamsburg. Mr. Estep was a member of Williamsburg Church of The Brethren. He was also a member of the Williamsburg Eagles and Bonner Sollenberger American Legion Post, Williamsburg. Mr. Estep was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater.
