Mrs. Elsie May Evans

Widow of Edward Evans, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, 
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, 2061 Columbia Avenue, Tyrone, this morning 
at 4.15 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments 
following an illness of four months. She was the daughter of George W. 
and Delilah (Miller) Bonsell and was born at Spruce Creek on Jan. 6, 
1885.  She was united in marriage with Mr. Evans in Tyrone in 1913. He 
died in 1930.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles Smith, at whose 
home she died, and five grandchildren.  Also surviving are four 
brothers and one sister, John Bonsell of Chambersburg and Edward, 
George and James Bonsell, all of Tyrone, and Mrs. Annie Alley of 
Pinecroft.  Friends are being received at the Glass Funeral Home in 
Tyrone.
