Hazel Moffitt Evans
Mrs. Evans, 93, of 11251 80th Ave. N, Seminole, Fla., formerly of Bellwood, 
died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 1988 at Morton-Plant Rehabilitation Nursing 
Center, Clearwater, Fla.
She was born July 22, 1896, in Bellwood, the daughter of Charles L. and 
Catherine W. (Wesley) Moffitt, and in 1914 married Max R. Evans, who died in 
1968.
Surviving are three children:  Robert M. of Latrobe, K.M. of Pasadena, Calif., 
and Eleanor E. Geesey of Seminole; 14 grandchildren and many great-
grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Catherine Pfiftzner of Nipomo, Calif.
Mrs. Evans was a former member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Bellwood.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Jon C. Russin Funeral 
home, Bellwood.
EVANS—Services for Hazel Moffitt Evans, formerly of Bellwood, will be held at 
11 a.m., Saturday at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, by the Rev. William 
Deist.  Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.  Friends will be 
received from 7 to 9 p.m Friday at the funeral home.
