NINA EVANS

  Mrs. Nina (Burns) Evans, of 801 North Second street, Bellwood, died 
unexpectedly at her home at 3.30 o'clock this morning. She was born in 
Roaring Spring Jan. 2, 1889, a daughter of Harrison and Alice (Boyles) 
Burns, and on Dec. 9, 1945, at Cumberland, married Charles E. Evans. 
Surviving are her husband, one son, Jay H. of Bellwood; six step-
children, Mrs. Harry Hamilton, Mrs. Zella Walters and Ray of Bellwood, 
Mrs. Faye Harmon, Mrs. Shirley Lucas and Mrs. Joan Waite of Tyrone; 
four grandchildren, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Marie Line of 
Altoona, Fred B. Burns of Sinking valley and Clarence S. of Silver 
Spring, Md. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Logan Valley Baptist church 
for more than 50 years and a member of the P.O. of A. in Bellwood. 
Friends will be received at the home after noon tomorrow.
