AMELIA EWING Mrs. Amelia Ewing, widow of Benjamin F. Ewing; died yesterday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Seasoltz, of 1806 First avenue, after an illness of two months of a complication of disease. She was born July 22, 1852, in Mifflin county, being the daughter of John and Elizabeth Moran, both deceased. She made her home in recent years with Mr. and Mrs. Seasoltz. S he is survived by eight children as follows: D. Lloyd and Guy, of Butler, and Benjamin J., Mrs. Harry R. Fluke, Mrs. C. W. Hiney, Mrs. Seasoltz, Mrs. R. H. Porter and Miss Rae, all of this city; two brothers, John and Bower Moran, of Altoona, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ewing, of McVeytown. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. R. Fluke, 1023 Seventh avenue, with services this evening at 8 o'clock. Further services will be held in the Methodist Episcopal church at McVeytown on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will follow in the McVeytown cemetery. Altoona Tribune, October 1, 1915
