ELIZA TIPTON EXLINE, Widow of William Exline, and for more than fifty-five years a resident of Altoona, died at the family home, 1607 Fifth avenue, at 11 o'clock this morning of uremic poisoning. She was taken ill last Friday and lapsed into a state of coma, being unconscious until the time of her death. She was born in Morrisons cove Jan. 14, 1838, and was married in Hollidaysburg to William Exline, who died twenty-five years ago. She resided in the Fifth avenue home for fifty-two years. Surviving are four children, as follows: Miss Annie Exline of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Cora Hopkins and John E. Exline, both of this city, and Mrs. William Blackstock of Pittsburgh. Also by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Dively of Claysburg. She was a life-long member of the Methodist church and upon coming to Altoona united with the Eighth avenue church. Later when the Simpson Methodist church was formed she united with that church, being one of the last few charter members of the church. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, April 7, 1920
