Eyre Paul M., the eight-year old son of Frank and Linda Eyre, was killed on the railroad siding of the Eyre Shoemaker Construction company at Tipton, Pa., Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The boy was playing about some cars which were shifted and he fell underneath the draft, meeting instant death. The remains were brought to Tyrone, were prepared for burial at Undertaker Samuel Graham's undertaking establishment, and were shipped this afternoon to Westchester for interment. Mr. Eyre, who is a brother of Lawrence Eyre, head of the construction company, has had charge of the company's new plant at Tipton. He and his family reside there. The unfortunate boy was born in Philadelphia, August 7, 1890. Surviving are the parents and their four children, Abby, David, Ann and Lawrence. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., July 30, 1907, page 4
