Farrell, a former resident of this county, died at his home in Hays City, Kan., on Monday morning. He has resided in Kansas for thirty-nine years. His wife died some years ago and he is survived by two step-sons, William and Lee Martin, of Ellis, Kan., and these brothers and sisters: John E. of Hays, Kan., A. J. of Massillon, O., and Mrs. Jane Orr, Katharine, Julia and Susan of this city. He was a member of the Order of Railway Conductors, having for many years been a conductor on the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific roads, and was also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, the Knights Templar and the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. The body will be brought here today and taken to the home of his sisters, 911 Twenty- third avenue, from where the funeral, with Masonic rites, will be held at an hour to be announced later.
