FARREN Died of lung trouble, at the residence of his father-in-law, the late John McCune, 1329 Seventeenth avenue, at 7:30 last evening. The deceased was born at Cresson, May 25, 1861. He had lived in Altoona during the past nineteen years, and was employed in the air brake department of No. 1 roundhouse. In 1881 he was married to Miss Bertha McCune, who survives, as does one brother, Thomas, of Pittsburg, and three sisters: Sister Mary Paul, of the order of Sisters of Mercy, of Wilkesbarre; Mrs. Susan McCormick, of Harrisburg, and Miss Ella, of this city. Mr. Farren was a member of St. John's Catholic church, of Division No. _ Ancient Order of Hibernians and council No. 299, Young Men's Institute. The funeral will take place Friday at 9 a.m., high mass to be celebrated in St. John's church, after which interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
