He was born Jan 5, 1876, at Buccino- Salerno, Italy, a son of Frank and Christina (Lepore) Fasano. He retired from the Altoona works, Pennsylvania railroad, as a blacksmith in 1941. Mr. Fasano was twice married, his first wife being Adeline Delmonte and the second Filomena Proietta, who survives, along with the following children: Mrs. Christina Caputo, Mrs. Mary Mirobelli, Mrs. Lucy DeRemigio and Frank Fasano, all of Altoona; Daniel, Mrs. Helen D'Andrea and Mrs. Laura Narsillo, all of Newark, N.J., and Joseph of Chicago; one step-daughter, Mrs. Anna Protta, at home; one brother, Angelo Fasano of New York city, and one sister, Mrs. Filomena Giardino of Italy. Mr. Fasano was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church and the Buccinese society. Friends will be received after 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Santella funeral home.
