Mrs. Isilina May Fasick, wife of George W. Fasick, of 707 Second avenue, Altoona, died at the Mercy hospital Monday at noon of a complication of diseases, following an operation a week ago. Mrs. Fasick was a daughter of George W. and Rebecca Pheasant, both deceased, and was born at Pennsylvania Furnace, Huntingdon county, on May 19, 1863. She had been a resident of Altoona 40 years, having been married here to Mr. Fasick on July 14, 1881. She was one of the earliest members of the Third Presbyterian church, a good Christian woman, whose first duty was her home, and was a devoted wife and mother whose presence will be sadly missed. The survivors are her husband, two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Pearl Yeats and Mrs. Alma Roberts; Leonard P. and Wilmot Ca., all of Altoona. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one brother, Joshua, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Carns, and Mrs. Hileman Crist, of Altoona. Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. McClure, of the Third Presbyterian church. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., February 21, 1922
