FASICK Of 420 Third Avenue, died at her home a 7 o'clock last evening of a heart condition after a short illness. She was born in Jefferson Co., on February 11, 1868, a daughter of Daniel and Charlotte Slemmer, and was twice married, her first husband having been R. W. Parsons and her second husband, George Fasick. Surviving are the following sons and daughters. John J. Parsons, Charles S. Parsons, Mrs. Mary Phillips, Ira D. Parsons, and Mrs. Margaret Scheeler, all of the city; three brothers and one sister, Charles Slemmer of Chicago, Milton and Daniel Slemmer and Mrs. Jennie McElfish, all of the city. Mrs. Fasick was a member of the Second Avenue United Brethren Church. The body may be viewed at the home. Funeral services will be held in the Second Avenue United Brethren Church at 2:30 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery. Altoona Mirror, December 17, 1933
