MRS. CATHARINE R. FAWBER
 
Died at her home, 1410 Second Avenue, at 1:05 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon after an illness of eight days.  She was born in Altoona on 
April 24, 1868, a daughter of William B. and Catherine (Marshall) Ford.  
Surviving are her husband, Hiram Fawber, and two daughters:  Nellie E. 
Fawber of Altoona and Mrs. J. H. Mattern of Lansdowne; one son, Dr. 
Charles E. Fawber of Altoona; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles H. Boyer 
and Mrs. Nellie Lantz, both of Altoona.  Mrs. Fawber was a member of 
the First Church of God.  Friends will be received at the home after 7 
o'clock on Friday evening.
 
FAWBER - Private funeral services for Mrs. Catharine Rebecca Fawber of 
1410, Second Avenue will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the 
home of Rev. Preston F. Lucas.  Interment in Alto-Reste burial park.  
Friends will be received at the home from 7 until 9 o'clock Friday 
evening and are requested to omit flowers.
