We are indebted to our Williamsburg correspondent for the facts which follow: Yesterday at 11 o'clock a.m., Mrs. Henrietta Jennie Royer Fay, wife of William Fay, died at her residence in Williamsburg, after an illness extending over a period of about four years. She was able to move about the house, however, until a few weeks before her death. She was born in Martinsburg in 1868, and was in her 28th year at the time of her death. Although her prolonged illness had in some measure prepared her friends for the inevitable result, yet her death was a severe blow to the mother, husband and brother, who survive her. They have the consolation of knowing that she was prepared, having given her heart to God and her name to the Presbyterian church when a child. So long as her health permitted she was zealous in the discharge of all her duties, both in the church and the Sunday school. In the latter she was organist for a number of years, as well as an acceptable teacher. She had a large circle of friends who will sincerely mourn her early departure, although their grief will be diminished by the knowledge that she has gone to a land where sickness and pains are unknown and all the inhabitants enjoy perennial health. The funeral will take place on Monday next, at which hour our correspondent fails to notice. Interment in the Presbyterian cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, January 17, 1891
