MRS. MARY ELIZABETH FEATHER

Widow of Adam M. Feather, died last night at 9.30 o'clock at her home 
at East Freedom, R.D. She was the daughter of James and Elizabeth 
(Caldwell) Hair and was born at New Florence April 24, 1872. She had 
been a resident of Freedom township for half a century and was a member 
of the Claysburg Reformed church. Surviving are these children: Harry 
and Edward, at home, Mrs. McKinley Strayer and William Feather, both of 
Claysburg, and Mrs. Robert Ritchey of Altoona; 23 grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Clemmie Hammer of Blairsville 
and Mrs. Emma Campbell of Livermore, Pa. Friends will be received at 
the home from Thursday to the time of the funeral.

FEATHER - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Hair) Feather, will 
be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home at East 
Freedom, R.D., in charge of Rev. H. C. Carolus of Claysburg. Interment 
in the Feather family cemetery.
