FEATHERS Widow of William Feathers, a veteran of the Civil war, died at her home in Claysburg this morning at 7 o'clock following an illness of several weeks. She was the daughter of Michael and Susanna (Cox) Fry and was born in Bedford county on May 31, 1855. She was united in marriage with Mr. Feathers on Nov. 10, 1881, and they spent their entire married life in Greenfield township, where the husband died on May 18, 1933. Surviving are these children: Blair, Mildred, Alpheus and Mrs. Saloma Ritchey, all of Claysburg, and Howard Feathers of McKee. Two children are deceased. Also surviving are twenty-two grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three step-children, Mrs. W. B. Yingling of Claysburg, Mrs. John King of Alum Bank, R. D., and C. H. Feathers of Osterburg, and one brother, J. Gills Fry of Martinsburg. Mrs. Feathers was a member of the Greenfield Reformed church since March 16, 1869.
