Feeney, well known to most of our citizins, and at one time employed as hostler at Col. Baker's, at Allegheny Furnace, recently enlisted in Capt. Gwinner's company of one year men, and was taken to camp, at Harrisburg. On Tuesday night last he wandered out of the camp and lay down on the grass which had overgrown one of the railroad sidings, at the stock yard, and fell asleep. While in that position, a train of cars was backed in on the siding, and he was run over and had both legs cut off. He was picked up and taken to the passenger depot, but died in less than half an hour. His remains were bro't up on the fast line, on Wednesday evening.
