Feeney died at the residence of his brother-in-law, Edward F. Smith, 1516 Thirteenth street, at 2:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a short illness of pneumonia. He was aged 33 years and 10 months. He is survived by two sons, Charley, aged 10, and Paul, aged 3. His wife died two years ago at Moline, Ill. He also leaves one brother, William, and three sisters, Mrs. B. W. Flaningan [sic], Mrs. M. O'Neil and [Mrs.] E. F. Smith, of this city. The deceased had a large acquaintance in the city and was quite popular. Previous to his illness he was regarded as an athlete, and his sudden taking off occasions much surprise. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning, leaving the house at 8:20 o'clock and proceeding to the church of the Sacred Heart, where the services will be held. Interment in St. John's cemetery.
