Fels, widow of the late John A. Fels, died at an advanced age yesterday morning at 7 o'clock, in the home of a daughter, Mrs. James A. Martin, 715 Second street, Juniata. The deceased lady was a widow for twenty-four years and for some years past found a pleasant home with Mr. and Mrs. Martin. Her death was caused by bronchial pneumonia. Mrs. Fels was born in Hollidaysburg on November 10, 1842. She is survived by four children - Mrs. E. F. Boose, of Pittsburg; Frank E. Fels, of Gallitzin; Harry J., of Altoona, and Mrs. James A. Martin, of Juniata. She was a devout Christian woman, worshipping in the Catholic faith and was a consistent member of Holy Rosary Catholic church in Juniata. Her remains will be laid to rest on Wednesday morning, with mass at 9 o'clock in Holy Rosary church. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
