He was born in Altoona in 1902, a son of Frank and Mary (Grassi) Fenell. His wife, Helen, died in 1950. Surviving are one son, Joseph L. Jr.; two brothers, James and Louis Fenell and these sisters: Mrs. Rose Ruscito, Mrs. Maria Chiarieri of Altoona, Mrs. Minnie Savino and Mrs. Nora Restora, all of Altoona and Susie DePaolo of Homestead. He was a veteran of World War I, a sheet metal worker by trade and a member of the Altoona Moose. Friends will be received at the Santella funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
