MALVERN HILL FERGUSON

  Malvern Hill Ferguson died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the
home, 300 East First avenue, of complications of diseases.  At the
time of death he was employed by the P.R.R. as yard conductor and was
in the employ of the company during a period of thirty-four years.  He
was born on October 23, 1867, the son of the late William and Mary
Ferguson.  The wife survives with the following daughters and one son:
L. Grace, Helen M., Naomi A., Mrs. Effie B. Leader and Frank M., of
this city; Mrs. Mary J. Alexander, of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Maggie
Claybaugh, of Tulsa, Okla.; George W., William H., and Edward R., of
this city.  He was a member of the Sixth avenue Church of the Brethren
and these lodges: United Lodge No. 174, B. of R.R.; Knights of
Pythias, I.O.O.F., Eagles, and several floral associations.  The
funeral will take place Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with services
at the church.  The interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
