FERRY Mr. Ferry, 89, of 222 Bedford St., Hollidaysburg, died at 6:25 a.m. today, June 9, 1986, in the Van Zandt VA Medical Center. Mr. Ferry retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1962. He was born Sept. 1, 1896, in St. Clairsville, the son of Frank B. and Jennie (Pressel) Ferry, and was twice married, first to Nannie M. Hoover, who died March 7, 1966, then on Dec. 23, 1967, to Olive M. Dick. Surviving are his wife, two step-daughters: Shirley Springer of Hollidaysburg and Glenna Dascanio of Altoona; nine step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Ferry was a member of the Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring. FERRY - Services for Park D. Ferry of 222 Bedford St., Hollidaysburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by the Rev. James Beach. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
