CARL M. FETHER

Of 2628 Walnut Ave., died at 10:55 p.m. yesterday, May 18, 1976, at 
Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted April 27, after an extended 
illness. Mr. Fether was a former salesman at the Smith House of 
Fashion, Duncansville. He was born Oct. 5, 1919, at McKee, a son of 
Chester and Jennie (Shaw) Fether and married Sheldeen Shuff. Surviving 
are his wife, a daughter, Paula, at home; four stepchildren, Richard B. 
Lynn, Ronald R. Lynn and Patricia J. Lynn of Altoona and Mrs. Martha E. 
Raber of Duncansville; six grandchildren, and a brother and two 
sisters, Charles J. of East Freedom, Mrs. Rebecca Corl of Hollidaysburg 
RD and Mrs. Elda Mallory of Altoona. Mr. Fether was a member of Park 
Hills Baptist Church. There will be no viewing.
