Fether, died at 12.15 o'clock yesterday morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1890, at McKee, a daughter of James A. and Rebecca (Dibert) Shaw. Her husband died seven years ago. Surviving are two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Rebecca Corl of East Freedom, Miss Elda Fether and Carl, at home; Chester and Dean of R.D. 1, East Freedom; seven grandchildren, one grandchild, three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charles Helsel and Mrs. Roy Marsden of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Martha Hileman of Altoona, Harry and Orville Shaw of McKee. Two sisters, Mrs. Dessa Butler and Mrs. Laura Delozier, preceded her in death. Mrs. Fether was a member of the Leamersville Brethren church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. FETHER - Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie B. Fether of McKee will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Leamersville Brethren church, in charge of Rev. Robert Crees and Rev. Homer Lingenfelter. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery, Roaring Spring. Friends are being received at the home after 7 p.m. Monday.
