MARY A. FICKES,

Wife of Harry Fickes, died of stomach trouble at her home, 2307 Eighth 
avenue, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.  Deceased was born in 
Claysburg, September 16, 1842, her maiden name being Dibert.  She was 
married to Mr. Fickes May 28, 1862.  Her husband and these children 
survive: Mrs. Jennie Kerr, Mrs. H. W. Himstead, Lizzie and Edward, all 
of Altoona.  These brothers are also yet living: Michael, of Junction 
City, Kansas; John and David, of Claysburg, and William, of Altoona.  
Deceased was a member of the First Lutheran church.  Funeral services 
will be held Sunday afternoon; interment in Fairview cemetery.
