FIELD Of 1011 Twenty-second avenue, died at his home at 9:20 o'clock last evening after an illness of one year. He was born in London, England, March 08, 1865, the son of William G. and Charlotte H. (Wright) Field and married Ellen M. Holland, who preceded him in death. Surviving are four sons: George J., Harold J. and Ernest E. all of Altoona, and William C. of West Chester; one daughter, Lucinda H. Field of Altoona; one sister: Mrs. Rose Stalter of Washington, D.C., one brother Ernest L. of Oakland, Calif., and 14 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Mr. Field was a supply car conductor for the Pennsylvania railroad and retired in 1931. He was a member of the Methodist church. Friends will be received at the Hickey Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, February 4, 1948
