DAVID E. FIELDS

Of 1222 Fifth avenue, died at his home at 6.30 o'clock this morning
after an extended illness.  He was born in Altoona Sept. 25, 1877, a
son of John and Amanda (Lafferty) Fields, and was a machinist by
trade, retiring 10 years ago from the miscellaneous shop of the
Altoona works.  On Jan. 30, 1922, he married Clara Wareham, who
survives with one brother, John R. Fields of the city, one niece and
five nephews.  Mr. Fields attended the Lutheran church and was a
member of White Cross lodge 354, Knights of Pythias.  Friends will be
received after noon tomorrow at the Gilden-Barton funeral home.

FIELDS - Funeral services for David E. Fields of 1222 Fifth avenue,
will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Gilden-Barton
funeral home in charge of Rev. Herbert Beam of the Eighth Avenue
Methodist church. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.  Friends are being
received at the Gilden-Barton funeral home.
