He was ill several weeks. He was born in this city 22 years ago and was employed by the Pennsy. Besides a wife and one child, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Filer, 805 Fourth avenue, with whom he lived and these brothers and sisters: Charles, John, Harry, Albert, Frank, Walter, Christian and Mahlon, Altoona, and Mosheim, Baltimore; Mrs. C. C. Simpson, Altoona and Mrs. W. B. English, Johnstown. The remains have been removed to his home at 805 Fourth avenue, from which place funeral services will be held at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
