FILER Of 1008 Eighteenth avenue died at the Harrisburg hospital at 10 o'clock last night after a month's illness. He was born in Altoona May 8, 1896, the son of John and Martha (Brumbaugh) Filer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harriet (Weibley) Filer, and one brother, Amos Filer. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church and the Fellowship Sunday school class, Mountain lodge 281, F. and A.M., Williamsport consistory and Jaffa shrine. He was employed as a draftsman for the P.R.R. and moved to Harrisburg a year ago. Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home Sunday afternoon.
