FINDLEY Of 2406 Second Avenue, died at 9:43 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted Wednesday, after a brief illness. She was 81 years old, and was born in Hollidaysburg, a daughter of Judge John and Margaret (Bell) Dean, and married Dr. Joseph D. Findley, who died March 29, 1950. Mrs. Findley was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three children, Joseph of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Margaret Crafts of Cincinnati and Mrs. Jane Hoffman of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas J. Baldrige and Miss Margaret of Hollidaysburg. A daughter, Mrs. Anna McLanahan, died in 1950. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
