M. shabodeho@aol.com March 28, 2012, 9:55 pm Tyrone Daily Herald, 12/2/1972 Jacob Fink Jacob Fink, 1059 Pennsylvania ave., died Friday at 10:05 a.m. at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born June 14, 1890, in Centre Co., a son of William and Nancy Albright Fink. On July 4, 1917, at Tyrone, he wasmarried to Martha Ruth Dixon. Surviving are the widow, two daughters and a son, Mrs. Dorothy Winters, of South Lyons, Mich.; Mrs. Josephine Houser, Detroit, and Herman J., of South Lyons, Mich.; also nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Hannah White, of State College, survives. Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and was an army veteran of World War 1. He was a member of Howard Gardner Post 281 American Legion, and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., retiring in 1947, as an engineman, after 30 years of service. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Francis Geiger. Burial will be in Bald Eagle Cemetery.
