Martha Ruth Fink

Mrs. Martha Ruth Fink, 92, formerly of Tyrone, died Monday, Nov. 12, 1990, at 
11:45 a.m. at Hillview Care Center, Altoona, where she had been a guest since 
Jan. 10.  She was born August 24, 1898, at Tyrone, the daughter of George 
Washington and Mary Ann Ewing Dixon.  On July 4,1917, at Tyrone, she
was married to Jacob Fink. He died Dec. 1, 1972.  She is survived by two 
daughters and one son, Mrs. Dorothy Winters and Herman J. Fink, both of South 
Lyon, Mich., and Mrs. Josephine Houser of Tyrone R.D. 3, nine grandchildren, 
14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Florine Gates, of South Lyon,
Mich. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.  She was a 
member of the Bald Eagle Methodist Church and Excelsior Lodge 219 of the 
Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.  Funeral service will be 
held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Dale 
Parker officiating. Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be 
received at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
