Fink, 81, of RD 3 - Box 534, Tyrone, Pa. died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 at the Tyrone Hospital. He was born January 8, 1927 in Tyrone a son of the late Wilbur and Ella (Baughman) Fink. He was twice married: First to Marcella Wills, now deceased, then to Shelva Brobeck. He is survived by two daughters and four sons: Penny Jo Bywater (Jim) of Tyrone; Dennis W. Fink (Charlene) of Tyrone; William F. Fink (Tammy) of Altoona, Dianna Harris (Tom) of RD 3, Tyrone; Bryan G. Fink (Holly) of Flinton, Pa.; and Ryan M. Fink (Shelda) of East Stroudsburg, Pa., 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Brothers Clair and Paul Fink of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by twin sons Gary and Barry Fink, a brother Foster Fink and a nephew Kevin Fink. He attended Tyrone High School with the Class of 1946 before joining the Army during WW II. He was a member of the Hookies Fire Co., the American Legion No. 346 in East Stroudsburg, Pa., and he was a former President of the Chief Logan Archery Club. He was an accomplished mechanic making violins and playing music with various instruments. He enjoyed trains, hunting and motorcycles. He played Santa Claus for many years pleasing hundreds of children in the homes of Tyrone. He retired as a Tool and Die Maker in 1989 from the Chicago Rivet Co. after over 30 years service. Friends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. where services with Flag Presentation will be Saturday at 4 p.m. with Pastor Roger Traxler officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Altoona Veterans Administration Hospital. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., February 21, 2008
