An Aged mill Respected Resident of Sinking Valley. David M. Fisher died at his home in Sinking Valley, about one mile from Arch Spring, at 9 o'clock Friday night last, from pneumonia which resulted from an attack of the grip several months ago, since which attack he had been ailing, the culmination coming in the disease which proved fatal. He had spent his entire life in the immediate neighborhood of Arch Spring, where he was esteemed and respected by all who knew him. In the Presbyterian church he was an active, useful and consistent member, in the community he was a public spirited but unassuming citizen, and in the family he was a devoted and model husband and brother. Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Ann Fisher, and two brothers, John, residing on the old homestead, near Arch Spring, and Rev. Daniel W., president of Hanover college, Indiana. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. M. Lewis, at the late home of the deceased, at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Interment in cemetery at Arch Spring.
