John Fisher died at 5.20 o'clock last evening of tuberculosis, at his home, 1906 Second avenue. He had been ill since last summer, but his condition was not considered critical until Tuesday, when he was compelled to take his bed. Mr. Fisher was born in Altoona about forty- five years ago, and in 1885 was married to Miss Mary Devine, of Ebensburg. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, and was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company in the South Altoona foundry. Besides his wife he is survived by these children: Mary and Agnes at home, and William, in Buffalo. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, William Fisher, of Altoona; Mrs. Mary Haid, of Homewood, and Mrs. Annie Stehle, of this city. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
