Flaig, commander of the Pleasant Valley American Legion post 982, and herself president of the post's Ladies' auxiliary, died at 6.05 o'clock this morning at Mercy hospital after a five-month illness. She was born in Houtzdale Aug. 23, 1916, a daughter of Patrick and Mary (Haney) Dugan. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Nancy, at home; eight sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Clifford Wade, Miss Helen, John, Haney and William Dugan, all of Houtzdale, Mrs. Harold McCullough, Jerome and Mrs. James Lawes, all of Philipsburg, Patrick of Erie, Mrs. John Poorman of Johnstown, Mrs. Eva Evanochk, of Trenton, N.J., Mrs. Cecil Sutton and Mrs. Don Warrick of Altoona.
