Flaugh, 71, of East Freedom, was dead on arrival at the office of a Kylertown physician, where he was taken after collapsing while hunting, at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 1977. Mr. Flaugh, known as Cally, collapsed after shooting a deer in the Clinton County area. Mr. Flaugh retired in 1971 from the Penn Central with 48 years' service. He was a lifelong member of the East Freedom Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the East Freedom Lions Club and the Grace Brethren Church, Leamersville. He was born Sept. 27, 1906, in Freedom Township, a son of Joseph and Rebecca (Dively) Flaugh and married Pearl Corle on April 9, 1924. Surviving are his wife, seven children, Mrs. Betty Aungst, Calvin Jr., Paul, Donald, Mrs. Dorothy Benton and Mrs. Nancy Glunt of East Freedom and Mrs. Shirley Feather of Duncansville; 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ickes of Altoona and Mrs. Marie Diehl of Imler RD. Friends will be received in the Marvin C. Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and in the Grace Brethren Church from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
