Mr. George Fleck, a highly esteemed citizen, died at his home on Friday morning. He had been ill for some time past and his death was not unexpected. He was born in the year 1824, and was therefore about 61 years of age. He spent his entire life in this valley, most of it being at his late home. Mr. Fleck was the father of six children, five of whom, with the widow, survive him. He was a member of the Presbyterian church for a number of years, and died with a hope of entering into that home above. The funeral took place on Sunday morning, the services being conducted by Rev. Coale. Interment in the graveyard at Arch Spring. - C. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, August 27, 1885, page 4
