FLEMING

  Mrs. Bessie Fleming, wife of George Fleming, 01 [sic] First avenue, 
died at the Altoona hospital at 8:30 o'clock last night of peritonitis, 
following an operation.  Mrs. Fleming was admitted to the institution 
on March 24 and her condition was critical at that time.  She was born 
in this county 47 years ago and had spent practically her entire life 
here.  Besides her husband she is survived by one son Chester and a 
daughter, Gladys, both of this city.  Several brothers and sisters also 
survive.  She was of the Lutheran faith.  Funeral announcement will be 
made later.
